K.J. Somiaya Centre for studies in Jainism has arranged the orientation and demonstration of Preksha Dhyan on 18th Nov.2003 with two different classes by Mrs. Vijaya Gosavi who conducts National and International Seminars on the Subject. There were 100 students who took part in the programme.

One day workshop on “Jain Meditation: Theory and Practice”. Dr.Rashmi Zaveri was the main speaker, 5^th July 2011.

 A  lecture on , ‘ Practice of Jainism in North America’ was delivered by Shri. Dilip Shah , Past President of JAINA (USA) on 3rd Feb 2012.

A Book release for the book ‘Various Facets of Saman Suttam’ was arranged and Padmashri (Dr.) Kumarpal Desai delivered an enthusiastic lecture  on 24th May 2012 and wrote an article in Gujrat Samachar about Saman Suttam on 3rd June 2012.

A Summer School of 06 American students mainly from the Common wealth University, Virginia  was organized in collaboration with the International School of Jain Studies from 24^th to 29^st May 2012.

A  Lecture on ‘Comparison of Classical Languages–in  Indian traditions Vedic, Buddhism and Jainism.’ was delivered by Dr. Vijaykumar Jain on 6th December 2012.

Workshop on  ' Brahmi Script' on 9th -11th October 2017 by Dr. Asawari Bapat.
