Guest Lecturer

 

  • A guest lecture was organized by the Gujarati department on “Natyakala Ane Gujarati Bhasha Nu Mahatva” by well known Gujarati play writer Shri. Pravin Solanki on 21st Feb, 2011.
  • A guest lecture was organized by the Marathi department on “Extra-curricular Activities and Personality Development” by Ms. Manjiri Pupala, Ex-student, Xavier’s College on 6th July 2010.
  • A guidance lecture for T.Y.B.A students was organized by Hindi department on “Preparation for Paper VII, Paper VIII, Paper IX” by Dr. Sanjeev Dubey, Head, Department of Hindi, S.I.E.S College in February 2011.
  • A lecture on “Contributions of Maithilisharan Gupt” was delivered by renowned Hindi poet Shri. Hari Mrudul on 12th January 2011.
  • A lecture on “Premchand” was organized by Hindi department which was delivered by Shri. Madhav Saxena ‘Arvind’, editor Kathabimba, on 13th  January 2011.
  • A guest lecture was organized by the Economics department for the T.Y.B.Com students on “Revised Examination Pattern and Evaluation” by Dr. Mrs. G. Rajlaxmi, Head, Department of Economic, L. S. Raheja College & Member of Board of Studies in January 2011.
  • A guest lecture was organized by the Economics department for the Arts students on “Effective English Teaching” by Dr. M. Malhotra , in February 2011.
  • Department of History in collaboration with K.J.Somaiya Sanskritipeetham organized guest lecture by Dr. Jayant Bapat, eminent scholar and fellow of Monash University, Australia on 20th Dec, 2010. He delivered a talk on the Koli community with special reference to Mumbai.
  • During the month of Jan - Feb 2011, guidance lectures were arranged in the subject of Accountancy Paper I, Paper II, Paper III and DIT and also IAPM for T.Y.B.Com students by Prof. Y. S. Muzumdar, Prof. K.G. Dawani and other members of the department.
  • Mr. Satyendra Gaur of English department organized a special coaching session for ATKT/failed in the subject of Ancillary English' (Paper I) FYBA during this academic year.
  • Mr. Satyawan Hanegave of English department organized special coaching sessions for the ATKT students of Business Communication (FYBCom), Journalism (SYBA) and Communication Skills (FYBA) during this academic year.
